What conditions do we treat?Athletix PT evaluates and treats most musculoskeletal injuries of an acute or chronic nature: Low back strain, neck pain, sports injuries, as well as most orthopedic surgeries. We also will perform return to sports tests for any sports injury.
-
What kind of treatments do you perform? We perform Manual Therapy: muscle/fascial stretching, joint mobilizations, dry needling, cupping, joint decompression, Lumbar and cervical decompression, facet opening, and suboccipital releases. We will learn to perform functional activities like proper hip hinging mechanics for squatting and bending to the floor. Athletes will be video analyzed to learn movement strategies and a corrective plan will be made. We will also incorporate sports performance to get the athlete ready to return to sport better than before.

How do I pay for my treatment?Athletix PT is a Fee for Service Concierge Healthcare Company. This means we are out of network with insurance companies and do not accept insurances. We will accept cash, checks, debit/credit cards, health savings accounts (HSA), and flex spending accounts. Patients must pay the full price for a session at the time of service. We will give the the patient a Payment Reimbursement Form, which contains the treatment codes used for the session. The patient then has the option to submit this bill to their insurance company, and the insurance company can directly reimburse the patient, based on the patient’s out of network benefits.
-
How do you justify the cost of charging people cash when they could be seen in network for only a copay? The quality of care you will receive from going out of network is significantly higher than being seen in network. As a patient of our concierge PT clinic, you will be seen only by one Doctor of Physical Therapy, specialized in Orthopedics and Sports Therapy , with over 20 years of experience, and receive One on One direct hands-on care. You the patient end up needing fewer sessions overall and will have a higher patient satisfaction because each session will be solely focused on the specific area to improve. You will also get 24/7 access to your provider via email/call/text if you ever have any issues or questions.
